1. Course: SPD01 Bridge Design Technology A professional development Study Course aimed at the professional who feels that the need for a particular course in this field of expertise is required. It is suita- ble for technicians, engineers and design engineers who wish to specialize in bridge design and its related technologies. Because it is aimed at the mature professional in the civil – construction – structural engineering fields of endeavor, the contents and level of the course requires that prospective students shall be fully conversant with the basic structural, scientific and mathematical sciences in this branch of engineering. The courses are also academically acceptable for credit and may be taken as single subjects or in any combina- tion and added to existing programs.
